These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VolumeMixer application ("the App") and this website. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control. You may not redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the App, or represent it as your own work.
The App requires macOS 14.4 or later on Apple Silicon. To function, it requires the macOS "Audio Recording" permission, which is used solely to adjust per-application playback volume in real time. Audio is never recorded or transmitted — see the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law, and not to use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The App interacts with the macOS audio system; while it is designed to leave untouched apps on their native audio path, no guarantee is made that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, audio, profits, or business arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The App may be updated from time to time. There is no obligation to provide updates, new features, or continued availability of the App or this website.
These Terms may be revised at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
